Hey guys. Been doing winter dusting of my shelf queens and decided to stretch the legs of my Lionel "Texas Special". The set was in the 2013 Catalog and features an AA set of F3's along with matching cars. There was an add-on set of two cars along with additional F3B units. Please enjoy the video. Thanks.

Great layout with spectacular scenes. I like the level of detail, interesting without clutter and very clean work. The track and ballast look super. Gargarves track
Really superb  looking Texas Special, always wanted to see how that train looked running.  The Texas Special is awesome, the shiny red sure pops out.
I am now chanting “I do not need one I do not need one I really do not need one”  course I’m scheduled to visit my local hobby shop next week…..

3Rail, Donald, wow, an amazing video of a beautiful train on a fantastic layout. Lionel certainly did an outstanding paint job on your beautiful train. I’ve ridden the real Texas Special, at the age of 10 years old, 67 years ago. It was a fantastic journey from Dennison Texas to St, Louis Missouri. Then, the B&O passenger train from St. Louis to Flora, Illinois. Your scenery is great. Thanks for sharing your layout with us folks here on the OGR Forum. Happy Railroading Everyone
