From Christmas circa 1997, I received a RailKing Conrail SD 60 with QSI ProtoSounds. I was into using my Cab1 as a throttle, so to improve transformer response, I added a QS-2 aftermarket board.
The engine has run flawlessly as a conventional ProtoSound engine ever since.....and, was having a great week at thr Chesterfield County Fair.....
This happened Friday afternoon......Tom (Gilly@N&W) looked at each other and said, "that's not good".....
Is it worth fixing.....after, about 25 years of service?
If it is worth fixing, who do I send it to?
