50 units are being built and the first one should enter service in 2013.

Looks to be in one of dem furin languages. Daygot a different word fur everything!!!! No surprise if it were coming soon to your next MTH catalog.... scale speed would be novel. Kinda a cross between model railroading and slot cars.

Pininfarina is actually also very involved in trains design, they are doing the interior and livery of the new Eurostar 320 as well as the refurbishing of the actual Eurostar.
They also did the design in the late 90's of the Swiss ICN as well as the design of the Swiss RE460 in the early 90's.
They probably did lots more...need to do some research.
