I found out it was coming by me by my gf, who saw it on the news. I saw it pass by in Gurnee, Il. Was by in the blink of an eye. There was plenty of people there that were not railroad fans per se, but were interested in seeing the largest steam locomotive in person, which they prob saw on the news as well. There was an air of excitement as it neared the crossing. Was all too short for me. And I goofed up and my phone reverted back to photo from video mode. I thought the passenger car consist it was pulling was quite attractive. Wish I would have got a video. Oh well.
