That Bridge Layer (have no idea for proper term) is quite impressive! Actually, a lot of them were, but that was one of the tops for me. That and the amphibious vehicle that went from land to water and back!
Looks like most of the equipment has been converted to PS3
There are groups that do something like that with modern construction vehicles. They fill a pl;ace with dirt and 'construct' all day. I have a off road quarry dump truck in 1/25 scale that is R/C control and has lots of functions.
That set up looks like a lot of fun. I have never seen anything like that here in York, PA. I have to admit that I was really hoping that one of those tanks was going to simulate a firing of a shell. 🤓

There are models that 'shoot' with recoil and smoke......tons of them on 'bay.

That lil' bridge layer is trick! 
It is called an M60A1 AVLB, or rather that's what it is modeled after.
Looks like a PzKw chassis on it, though.

A group of us run the 1/14 scale RC tractor trailers made by Tamiya. You have to build the kit with all the add ons.
And yes, they are kind of like PS3!
