A forum member wrote and said he and his wife were going to be on Maui and wondered if they could meet us and see the progress of the layout. Turns out they were staying in condos four blocks from our house. Dick and Linda were great. We went to dinner two nights ago and had a wonderful time, then dick came over and I gave him the grand tour of our little narrow gauge railroad train shop on the island and then a tour of my layout. We talked trains all afternoon. What wonderful people. The only thing running on our narrow gauge railroad is this home made weed sprayer. Where have you ever seen a golf cart on a railroad before? Live Steam Railroad in Riverside, California. They use it for tools to repair their steam only equipment.
