Check out how happy this kid is, when he finds out he got the Polar Express train set for Christmas
Sounds to me like he loves O Gauge trains. This is priceless

I've seen Alex do that same exact thing when he's running his layout.
I'm so embarrassed my Mom posted that!
As Sheldon Cooper once said: "It's O gauge or NO gauge."
I'm so embarrassed my Mom posted that!

My reaction also every time the UPS, USPS truck rolls up.
Alex,
The little boy loved his Christmas train set, and it made his mothers entire year,
I was the same way at Christmas time with my trains. Great video!

We have the Polar Express running here on Main Street and see some similar, but not quite as exuberant responses when the little folks spot it in the window!
Change the year to 1962 and you have me!
It's really is a wonderful video and for over 50 some years a great hobby!
It's nice to see proof that toy trains have not lost their magic.
This kid has a future. He knows what he wants and knows that O-Gauge is the best. Sign him up.
That is so neat to see him so excited - priceless!

Great video.
Very lucky to have a young engineer here that gets just as excited with O gauge trains.

That's the magic of a Lionel Christmas!!!!
Not surprisingly it's this O GAUGE set that truly relaunched me into Model Railroading. Decided to buy it for what became one of my stepsons but it was just too expensive. So my then girlfriend/ now wife, got it and gave it to ME!!!! Since then the old Lionel has come out and i am knee and wallet deep into O in spite of having enough HO in unopened boxes to start my own hobby shop!
While I miss the ideas I carried in my head about my perfect HO layout i have replaced them with new memories of running trains with my kids!

No, No NO! ...like this, repeat after me..... OOOOO Gauge!
