Hi all,  just wanted to share a nice story.

I had a customer leave me a voicemail this morning saying he needed his son's Polar express 1225 Berk repaired. So i proceed to call him back and his wife answers the phone, I introduce myself and she says hold on for a minute.  While holding i hear the wife tell her son , bring daddy the phone it's the train repairman  . As the son is bringing his father the phone he's yelling the entire time " daddy it's the train repair man, it's the train repair man ,my train is going to work again " . I could tell by the sound of his voice he was thrilled that his broken train will soon be fixed. And as the title says "This just made my  day "

Thanks, Alex

Kids really think you can fix anything.  When my daughter was three years old, she threw her doll down the step into the playroom when she was told to put it away.

My wife said: "You're going to break that and you won't have it anymore."

To which my daughter replied: "Daddy will fix it."

My wife: "Daddy can't fix everything you know!"

My daughter's amazed reply: "He can't???"

When I heard about this exchange I truly almost lost it, that is about as funny, but true, as it comes!

I just read your thread and You made my day....Hopefully we can say hi to each other at York in October....I have read many of your comments on the OGR Forum. It’s always good to make folks happy. You and Gunrunner John are always very helpful when we need help. Our friend Marty Fitzhenry is always there for us to.I hope he gets well enough to attend York this October. Happy Railroading.
