Before a 5 year old comes to visit Sunday, Thomas (31956 set) needs to be improved so it will run through the 90 degree crossing and speeder turntable without stopping. This will be a relatively easy and rewarding project. The Thomas Track is isolated from the rest of the layout so younger ones aren't overwhelmed with running on the big track. I will probably also set it up to run with the Z4000 Remote. That's preferred over a postwar ZW for youngsters.
