I'm getting more and more reports of traffic issues on I81, so I may leave at 6AM Thursday. I'm not sure if this will make travel any faster, but I certainly don't want to sit in traffic, and not get to the hall in time to set up. I may pop in to say hello if I get there in a reasonable amount of time. It is about a two hour drive under normal travel conditions, so that would put in in York between eight and eight thirty. Don't save me a seat, as I wouldn't want to take a seat from someone else. I've met some of the folks on the list, so I'm sure I would be able to find such a rowdy bunch huddled around Peter chanting, "Scrapple Scrapple Scrapple"!

I was able to make it after all; I had anticipated major traffic headaches on the way down, but only slowed briefly in Harrisburg at one of the merge points between 81 and 83. I actually got to the diner at 8 o'clock! I met some fine folks, and also managed to meet almost everyone on Peter's list in the Orange Hall. I had one opportunity to slip over to the Purple Hall late Saturday to say hello to an old friend. Also, a message for Rich from Korber models, give Alex some time to work on his layout! He's been too busy putting kits together.
