Good Evening and Merry Christmas. I bought the Christmas Express from ebay with the musical box car. The air whistle in the tender isn't working. There is a small board inside the tender and the speaker. I am assuming i either have to replace the board or the track pick up. Where do I start checking. I don't have a meter but I guess I am probably gonna need one.

Switched connections no luck. By way of further info. I run conventional set up with 2 Kw's. I have a Polar Express from with a tender with whistle that is similar and the whistles and announcement car work. I attached some pics not sure if it helps
Found problem. It's a Disconnected wire (on the power truck). Cant see how to get truck off to fix?
The pick-up carriage just snaps in. Use a screwdriver to wedge it out from the side of the truck.
