i found a new use for brass paper fasteners....they are a quick and dirty substitute for rivets.  I have a k-line warbonnet that had the coupler broken off.  There wasn't enough left under there to replace with the correct coupler. I did have a hole.  So, to easily attach coupler, I used a brass fastener.  Didn't even have to take it apart.  Today, I noticed my crane car had a busted up wheel set.  So, I junked a crappy caboose and took the wheel set off.  Once again it did the job.  Saved me a trip to the store, it was cheap, and requires absolutely no skill!!
