I am currently using MTH's tiu and aiu system. I have Ross tack and switches. I use z1000 and atlas switches. I have a common bus wire and 14 & 10 volt power wires (around the layout)for accessories. Hope that gives you enough information.
Here's are my questions:
1, Instead of running the common from the switch machines to the aiu's, can I connect them to the common bus wire then connect the common bus wire to the aiu's? Or is it better to run all three wires together? It's not so much as saving wire (though that is a consideration) It's more about less wires to deal with. Also, will this have an affect on other accessories on the bus wire.
2, On the Atlas switches I'm using their 6924 derailing circuit boards. I want to connect Lionel dwarf signals so they indicate out (red) or straight (green). Any suggestions
