Hello All

Was running my layout and started having some issues on ch. 1. After shutting it down and restarting, ch 1 only had 2 volts on the output side. Switched to ch 2 and everything ran fine. I looked in Barry's book and really didnt see anything about this issue.

Any help would be great.

Thank you in advance

Nick,

It sounds like you are running with an older transformer, check the fuse on the TIU, more than likely its blown.  After replacing the fuse, place a set of Scott Breakers in front of each channel of the TIU to guard against this happening again.

I do hope you have not damaged your TIU.   Reference Barry's book and the DCS Video guide. The older transformers have very slow blowing breakers, which allow damage to occur to the DCS TIU, if you don't use the 10 Amp breakers between the transformer and the DCS TIU.

I'm curious to know which type channels you're talking about; fixed or variable. ??
