TIU problem with whistle sound continuously

Damaged TVS diode on an output channel likely would be my first guess.

It failed in one direction- hence the DC offset.

I would prove this simply by testing a different TIU channel- you have 4 of them. If only this channel does it, then bingo, it's in that channel.

It is only one channel. So, can I repair it myself? If so how do I fix it. If not where do I  send it for repairs? I am in south Florida. Thanks for the reply. Al Prendergast 203 7227851

What channel is it?  If the TVS failed you would have an AC input short.  Are you using a VAR channel or a Fixed channel?  I am thinking variable am I correct?

Also, have you eliminated the track?  Move the effected channel to a different track.  You may have an offset based on some other item on the track.

For feed back, all the TVS are good, Var channel has multiple power FET shorts and a solid DC signal on the output which is on all the time.  G
