Tom McComas and Joe Stachler have just released their third edition of "Toy Train Revue". They are producing  three DVDs per year. I have had the distinct honor of having my layout included in the latest DVD "TOY TRAIN REVUE 3". This series features all angles of the hobby. We are lucky to have such talent producing this series. They were just great guys to work with. These DVDs are available in hobby stores, Amazon.com, or their website. Just tap the preview promo video when you get there. Here's a link.  www.tmbv.com

Hi Greg,

I guess this makes us classmates!

I was lucky enough to have my layout covered on TTR3 as well.

Our friends Rich Melvin and Jim Barrett are even mentioned in a ruse during my segment!

Your layout and especially your weathering talents are very impressive.

It sounds like we have a couple other popular forum members that will be appearing on TTR4.

I hope you all have as much fun as we did.

Thank you Tom and Joe!

Terry J.

Thanks guys...I appreciate your compliments. I really gotta tell ya I am impressed at what the producers Tom and Joe are doing in this series. Besides a variety of layout types, they do some great historical segments...and that is always so engrossing to watch.
Liked your segment Terry, would like to see your layout sometime.

Ken...Thanks. Tom is sending me a copy of TTR4...Look forward to watching.

Pappy...Those guys are BUSY!!!

Ron...I think they ran out of time. Joe and Tom told me plans had changed.I gotta tell you I think this latest series toy train review is one of their best Productions. I'm going to subscribe on Monday to the entire series.

While we are pointing out individual contributions to Toy Train Revue 3 (in full disclosure, the prewar Gilbert Flyer 3/16” scale O gauge segment is my humble collaboration with Tom and Joe), we should also recognize that there are several segments in TTR3 not mentioned in this thread that are worthy one’s attention and enjoyment. For one example, the restoration of the Eden Springs live steam railway is an ongoing Herculean task. Many good things to cite, a synopsis for which is offered for your consideration here …

Hi Bob,

I'm glad you spoke up because I wanted to let you know, as well as everyone else on the forum, what an awesome presentation you did for TTR3.

You are definitely a scholar of everything Flyer and have amassed an amazing collection.

I have to admit that I don't pay much attention to AF articles, etc. but I was riveted to the screen with your segment.

Good job and thank you for your review-of-a-review. Well done!

BTW, you and Dennis have an open invitation to re-visit my layout anytime.

Terry
