When I backl my mth dcs engine into a siding that has tmcc engines on it, the dcs engine looses signal.  Are tmcc engines wiping out the dcs signal?  If so how can the two systems operate together.  Do I have to have a DCS side track only for the dcs engines?

The siding with the tmcc engines on is controled by a on off spst switch on the hot center rail with power coming from the tiu center lead.

Are you saying that you pressed the the direction button(or turned the thumb wheel) to stop the engine, and it did not stop??

That would indicate a signal problem.  Usually you would see a message like "check track" on the remote screen  if the engine fails to receive a command.
