I don't have one of these but have the Legacy A-A version (SP). The TMCC version came with powered roof fans; the Legacy does not but I have what I think are the relevant parts. I'd like to install this in my Legacy set. What has me stumped is the wiring of this feature.
Here is the 10V constant voltage board that drives the fan motor:
And here is the fan motor assembly, which comes with short wires attached to the DC motor:
The PCB has a four input/output connector but there's no wiring harness with it and I can't figure out if it is simply connected to track power or a TMCC board. If the latter, I wonder if it can be wired to a Legacy board or if not perhaps it could be connected to the motor poles or perhaps I could use another constant voltage supply.
I would not be troubled if the fans were powered whenever there is power to the track. Indeed I think that the TMCC version operated that way.
Does anyone know or have an idea what the answer is? Thanks.
