Hi, I'm attempting to lash-up a K-Line TMCC Mikado with a Legacy C-420. I've done it before many times, and it's always worked. When I build then program the train, the Mikado doesn't signal a whistle. And when I go to drive it, only the C-420 does anything. Although the mikado is the lead engine, the C-420 blows its horn when I pull down the slider. The mikado works perfectly on its own though. I'm running legacy version 1.6.

Ok. Sorry. Thought I saw that they wouldn't do mu's together. Might have been how it's set up...and what you pick to control.

It's set at TMCC. I put it in a lash-up by itself and it still did nothing.
Are you SURE that when you programmed the TMCC locomotive it didn't get set to Legacy control?
Sometimes you have to reset the engine by resetting the engine ID number. I had to do that once and now my engine works fine. Move the switch to program and reprogram the engine ID then switch it back to run. Hopefully this will eliminate the problem. Gunrunnerjohn has a very good point.
Yes, It's on TMCC. And yes, I reprogrammed it...
I set the C-420 (Legacy) to TMCC, and it still didn't work. I did finally get it to work, but only on train id 1. I had it at train id 45 before I upgraded to 1.6. This only occurred after the update.
I'll try some more train id's when I get the chance.
