Hey Everyone...I haven't had my layout up and going for a few years (I'm a little rusty) and recently moved to a new home and rebuilt my layout on an 8x12 table.
I am using Lionel Fastrack and using CAB-1 remote. I have 8 switches, 6 of which are connected to an SC-2 (I did the terminal 1 cut to use for a switch) and the other 2 are using the "stock" wired remote.
I have 3 basic loops, #1 is the outer most loop that goes around the perimeter of the table, roughly 40ft of track, #2 is the middle loop that is also about 35-40ft of track and the #3 is the inner loop which is about 20-25ft of track...roughly 100ft of track.
My question is how do I power this and what else do I need/do you recommend? Below is a list of what I currently have:
-- (2) Lionel CW-80 80 watt transformers
-- (2) Lionel PowerMaster (6-24130)
-- (1) Lionel TMCC Command Base (6-12911)
-- (1) Lionel CAB-1 Remote (6-12868)
