I have a issue with a Lionel 6-28084 TMCC Dreyfuss Hudson. Loco will not reverse in command mode. Works fine going forwards.
I swapped the R2LC and loco still will not reverse. Tried it's R2LC in another engine and it works fine. Checked the Odyssey magnet and that looks ok. Checked and reseated all the connectors. Engine still refused to reverse.
Tried in conventional and the loco acts as if it has a short circuit.
I am thinking it may be the DCDS motor driver board?
If that's the case am I better bining the DCDS and gen 1 Odyssey and replace it with ERR Cruise Commander M as it appears the cheaper option?
Anyone done a upgrade on a similar engine? Loco has a wireless tether.
I have done a couple of ERR upgrades but I have never used the modular version or with a wireless tether.
Any advice gratefully received.
