It's all about the money, guys.  That's why we have pro sports arenas with funky names honoring "Uncle Pennybags'" firms and not famous/local sports heroes.....maybe with the exception of Curly Lambeau's honorary arena in GB, WI, and a precious few others.

Money, money, money.....it talks.

But, hey, I'd rather have an iconic US sponsor like Harley Davidson than Toyota....or Sanda Kan!!!

I was thinking the same thing.  I would love to see MTH offer a Premier Utz boxcar as a York-only offering (in addition to their regular meet boxcars) in honor of the hall being re-named.  They could even do two road numbers (I know that I'd buy both).

Normally, I don't worry about cookies.

For those that do, there are a number of freeware products that will clean them off your computer. Some of them are even smart enough to keep track of the cookies you want, and leave them alone.
Your ISP is probably capturing information about the sites you visit and selling the information. (My friend, who is in the business, confirmed that his company does) I find that once I look at a product on line, for weeks afterward I get ads focused on that particular item, or like ones.

Most of the Android applications I've looked at state that they have the rights to identify your phone number, monitor your calls, and look at your address book.

Big Brother is here, and it isn't necessarily the government.

I was a Sales Director for an online marketing company that developed websites.....All online search engines, at least the major ones, track where you go and what you visit.  Using Google as an example, the next time you see an ad pop up similar to C.W. Burfle's example above, take a look at the ad.  You will see on the ad in small letters "Ad Choices".  Many folks don't notice it and those that do think it is the name of the company that produced the ad...BUT...that is not the case.  Click on it and it will take you to your personal page that Google has on you.  This page will show what you have been looking at on the web...with the exception of "certain" sites which are not supposed to be tracked and reported...yeah right!  Big Bro is here folks!
