A few years ago, I read an article about TMCC/Legacy track wiring (can't remember the source) that suggested you electrically isolate each section of track supplied by feeder wires from adjacent section(s) of track supplied by other feeder wires off the same bus. Not doing so would negatively affect the TMCC signal. Does anyone else remember reading about this or have information about it?

I don’t recall anything like that. I have 2 loops and a yard area where the center rail is insulated at interconnecting switches. The outside rails are all connect as common. The legacy base is connected to this common in one spot. My power feeders are 2 wires, a common and a center rail, spaced 4 to 6 feet apart.
Agree with Dan. No need to isolate tracks for TMCC. There is a need to isolate the center rail for DCS blocks.
