Bill - I very much appreciate your offer, but I have some of those.
I ended up solving my problem this way. The original problem was caused by the end of a switch not lining up with the boundary of a removable piece of subroadbed (sitting on an access hatch). I solved the problem by adding a short piece of straight track to make the track and subroadbed end at the same point. I will use GarGraves "fit-up" connectors to bridge the gap. The problem was complicated because I had a number of other alignments that had to be perfect to make this work. I think I nailed it.
I will eventually publish photos of the finished area in the Photo Album as a comment to my PRR Panhandle Division.
