Some very impressive equipment, both new and old. It's amazing how far they have advanced with the equipment and what they have invented up with to do the work. There are some smart folks out there designing that stuff.
N.Q.D.Y. do you have any idea what year that picture was from. I am guessing the video is the current method being used today.
Hi rtr12. The book that I scanned the picture from was published in 1910. I would guess that the photograph would date to not more than a few years before then.
Tim, this video was posted on April 16 also under track laying, still it's a most impressive video.
