Every time a locomotive passes over the track of the cattle coral the E unit is tripped and the engine stops. It will restart using the direction button on the transformer. This happens with all my engines so they are not the problem.

What kind of track are you using and does your engine have a traction tire on it? If it has a traction tire it might be losing the outside rail power at the cattle coral area.

Try adding a common ground to both outside rails if you haven't already.

The track in the coral is Lionel tubular, been in it for years, attaching to Gargraves.
There are no ground wires on the outside rails.
Where should the ground wires go to?
This just started yesterday, before that there was no problem.
Post a good macro pic of the track at the corral.
