There is a little reverse board inside.  Since the light is on, one problem spot which is the pickup wiring isn't the issue.  Sounds like the reverse board or perhaps a motor connection?

I converted one to command, so I was all over it, yes you can get into them, and yes it's a PITA.

 I tried the command reset in the manual. It didn't work.

I got her apart. Everything looks OK? Nothing burned or unplugged anyways. I would have to test the motor, but the lights aren't flashing either?

What type of upgrade did you install? Not much room in there.

Sorry, I'm thinking of the speeder, the Trackmobile is already TMCC.  I was talking about the speeder with someone and got my brain tangled up.  Sorry for the confusion.

I did have the Trackmobile open, I picked it up by the sides when I got it and promptly punched out a couple of windows!   I had to open it up to fix it, and the wiring in the cab was a PITA to get lined up so it didn't show through the windows.  Don't know how they did it at the factory.

I don't think this changes your situation, you'll probably still have to look inside for that issue.  It's not going to be fun from my limited experience.  It uses a version of the ERR MiniCommander board as it's electronic package FWIW.
