Hello. Would anyone know how to repair a Train America Studios EOB Motherboard??? I think it is bad. And I cant seem to find one anywhere!

It depends on what's wrong with it. I've replaced the drivers on them, also repaired cooked traces and components. If it's a part like the microprocessor, that's a part that's clearly not available at this time.
What's the exact symptoms? Are you sure it's not the R2LC?
Well, I changed the R2LC with one out of another 3rd rail locomotive I have and it did not make any difference. When I put it on the track, it will not respond to any TMCC Commands other than direction, and AUX2 it seems like. I have the tender all apart and have been trying to figure it out for a while now.
And the sounds come on in TMCC Mode right away, but whistle and bell only works when I push my transformers bell and whistle buttons.
I don't know that it's the EOB board, it's primarily responsible for motion. The whistle and bell working from the transformer indicate that the RailSounds boards aren't seeing the serial data from the R2LC.
I'd be looking VERY closely at wiring first before tearing into the EOB board. Have you made sure the tender shell is insulated, that's normally the antenna for upgrades. Have you tried running it without the tender shell on?
Does the locomotive work in conventional mode with no TMCC command base connected?
Well, I have the tender apart and a AC transformer hooked to the red and green wires on the plug that plugs into the engine. These wires are the EOB Motherboard power input wires. It says that next to the plug on the motherboard. When I turn my AC transformer up, no power is coming out of the two wires that power the motor- it says motor on the motherboard plug. The sounds come on though. Boy, I am really confused!!!
I have the tender shell off lying next to the tender frame. So no power is going to the motor on my 3rd rail Z-6 challenger. I looked real close at the wiring, and I cant seem to find any thing wrong.
So, right now it is in conventional mode with my AC transformer hooked right to the 8 pin plug that plugs into the locomotive. No power coming off the motor power wires. I hope I can fix it!!!
Could I send my EOB motherboard to you??
If the EOB MB is getting power and you can control the sounds from the TMCC remote, then it may be the motor drivers.
I'll take a look at the MB and see if I can repair it. Send the three daughter boards as well, might as well test them on my test set to make sure they're good.
Send an email to my profile email and I'll shoot you instructions for shipping.
My Atlas SW9 with TAS boards is behaving similarly. I get all sounds, couplers and lights, etc., but now I can only go in reverse. Won't go forward. I tried a radio board from another engine and same issue. Does it in conventional as well. Tried resets, looked for pinched wires, etc.
Any way to test the motor drivers with a multimeter?
Can I send you the boards for testing, repair, etc.?

Top suspect is probably the triacs on the board, followed by those white opto-isolators. I've seen both die. They can be repaired.
Can I send you the board for testing/repair?
You can, but it'll be some time before I can actually get to it. I'm buried until York, I have tons of work to get out, and I'm trying to get stuff ready for the York show.
