The TMB Model Train Club Located on Long Island, now in Farmingdale is in the very early stages of building a new layout. We lost our space and just completed tearing down our old 3,000 SqFt layout and are now situated in a new 4,400 SqFt room. Our train space will be 50' x 70'. We just decided on our layout design that will incorporate 2 main lines 4 Branch lines and a logging line.  We ave plenty of space dedicated to meeting and club activity.  We have a great Christmas party and Summer BBQ.  We also have a modular layout which we bring to various community activities as well as handicapped schools.

Just envision your trains touring a huge layout with WIDE sweeping curves.

We generally meet on Fridays but there is activity on any given day. Monthly dues are $35

Now is the chance to get in on the ground floor if you want participate in the layout building as well as accumulating a bunch of friends who like you are into MODEL RAILROADING.

The METCA Waybill 2nd quarter issue has some news on TMB's new location noting its convenience to the LIE and an invite to reader to come and help out. Electronic versions of the Waybill were issued yesterday and those that receive paper copies had them mailed today. We will do it again in the 3rd quarter newsletter so be sure to send me a few photos of the new digs as well as your layout progress by early August.

I might note that this is always a great opprortunity to get in on a layout design and construction project at the beginning. These are a great bunch of folks at TMB so why not visit with them to see how you can help and have some fun with Model Railroading in a grand style.
