Took a trip today to the Michigan Transit Museum in Mt Clemens, Michigan.  It was their summer opening day for train rides.  The kids had a blast and were even interviewed by the local news paper!  After the train ride we went over to their museum.  It is housed in the old Mt Clemens Depot on the Grand Trunk Western branch line.  While there a local train was on the passing siding and provided a great opportunity to grab some shots of the kids and the train.  We explored the museum and made a few purchases for the kids.

It was a great day and if you never been there it is a must see when your in the Mt Clemens area.

Thank you Tim

It is too bad they cant go on the base anymore.  It really cuts down on the ride and the museum was one of the biggest selling points of the train ride.
