I was in Gettysburg today and stopped at the "Depot Museum" train store on Rt 30 west,305 Buford Ave. Operated by Don Carver,jr, 7 days a week. Jammed with Lionel, AF, Marx and more from Standard and G gauge on down. Tons of stuff, all in decent shape, some restored. Ticket prices are a little high but I am sure there is some wiggle room there if you are serious and ask. There is a big steam engine shaped sign in front. open at 9 6 days a week, 10 on Sunday. Phone is: 717-334-6937

Yes, a great store well worth visiting and not very far from York! The store is much bigger inside than it appears from the street as the building was added onto in the back at least twice. I'm glad to hear he's still in business as I had heard he had some health problems.
Thanks for posting.

Not sure which one this is,but the one that had the office equpt. sign out front looked closed my last cluple of times through....another one?
I was talking to the owner yesterday and the shop was open. No office equipment but a big, faded, wood sign in front shaped like an old steam engine. It is on Buford Ave,, Rt 30 west side of Gettysburg down the street from the seminary where the battle started.

Yep, same store. As I recall Don telling me, the original family business was repairing office equipment. It's been open every time I've been there.

I have been by this store several times and saw the Sign with the Train Engine, but didn't know anything about it or what to think. I will stop next time
