Train Show at DuPage was great this month (Pics) | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Last Sunday's train show at the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton, IL was great. The weather was perfect and the crowds were good. There was quite a few vendors in the parking lot this month after an absence last month. Here are a few pictures of the outside vendors.

There were a lot of great bargains too. The best that I saw was a vendor selling Atlas and Lionel freight cars that were professionally weathered for $30 each! He had done a great job on them. He had a couple engines too that were good looking at super prices.

1:43 Chicago Police cars and Illinois State Police cars at good prices. Our friend Paul bought an MTH Proto 2 articulated steam engine for $350. Another vendor had brand new Atlas cars for $29.95.

Our group at breakfast was smaller than usual, but got to see a lot of friends as usual.

That train show looks like fun. There are only a couple of outside train shows up this way. This show has the flavor of a flea market and perhaps that brings with it some bargains. The Greenberg's show down this way has turned into a giant flea market as well and at the last show there were bargains galore.

I was there Art, didn't see you, but did see a gent I ran into at a House Party, he sets up in the building to the north of the main building.

The show is mostly indoors, but it was such a nice day, I guess some people wanted to sell out doors.

No mud for my 4Runner in the parking lot.
