I am trying something new for my local Church and Knights of COlumbus. I am helping them do a Train show as a fundraiser.
It will be DEC 6 that is a Saturday. IT is from 9-3.
This is a new concept for them. We have room for about 50 tables! Not too bad. I have about 17 tables sold to date.
Let your friends know that if they have extra stuff to sell, they can contact me for a table (Only $20) admission is only $4.
I am going to have some trains running (thomas G-Gauge) and I am going to raffle off an O gauge MTH christmas set with Proto-3.
Train Racing as well!!
IF and only IF: Anybody cares to donate to the Door prize Category?? Also, For the Train Races: I am looking for 2 Lionel CW80s to use to power 2 parallel tracks about 10 feet long. If anybody has any sitting around your not using and want to sell at a decent price to the cause, that would be great!.
Tell you friends in the Washington DC beltway to help support the Train Hobby, even though I will have dealers, the displays are there to get the next generation interested in the hobby!!
I have advertised in the 2 O Gauge Magazines already!
