Was wondering if these two shows are worth going to. I live in Maine, so they would be long drives. Not to mention tolls and gas.

1: Railroad Hobby Show
Eastern states expo, West Springfield, Mass.
    Jan. 26& 27

2: Greenberg train and toy show
     Shriners Auditorium, Wilmington, Mass.
     Mar. 23 & 24

I walked out of the last Wilmington Greenberg show after an hour or so. More and more non-train sellers, the same old trains being offered by the same guys, and my general lack of interest in any of it were the primary reasons for my quick exit.

Been to the Springfield show once. It's a large show in several halls, but at almost 2 hours drive each way in January, I wasn't thrilled enough to go back. I always found my best deals online.

Greenberg had one (and only one) show in Springfield some years ago just across the river from W. Springfield.  My wife and I attended and it was nothing like the ARS show over the bridge.  I think they decided against doing it again because it was close to the ARS show time.  Not saying anything was really wrong with it but the ARS show easily trumps it.
