As many of you know, Paul Kirby the owner of The Train Stop in San Dimas, California passed away in September of 2011. The store has been closed since the end of December 2011 for inventory, and yes, there is that much stuff to count. On Saturday June 2nd, from 10am to 5pm, and Sunday June 3rd, from 9am to 3pm Paul's wife Susan will hold a huge parking lot sale we are calling "Paul's Attic Sale" at the church next door to the Train Stop.
Paul's Attic Sale is the appropriate name for this event as we have gone through every nook and cranny in the Train Stop building to bring out over three hundred boxes packed full of trains and accessories. Every scale from Z, N, HO, O, STD, and G will be represented in new, used, kit, and parts condition. The pricing on this sale is simple, some items will have a rock bottom yellow sticker (up to 90% off) price, and other items we get to do some good old haggling. Here is your chance to finally get to see inside some of those boxes you used to see piled all over the place. We have pulled stuff from under the layouts, the back rooms, the attic, above the back rooms, and from the sales floor to bring you the biggest train store parking lot sale in years.
Purchases may be made with Cash (no checks), Visa, or Master Card. All sales are final! The address for the Train Stop is: 211 W. Bonita Avenue, San Dimas, CA. Please do not call the store.
Come on down and join in on the fun!
Regards,
Randall
