This is my first attempt at making a train board for a yard I have. It's a piece of hardboard painted black with yellow car pin stripe tape. Akl purchased from Amazon. With Ross 4 way switch and Ross standard switch it comes out to 12 tracks on 4ft wide platform. The second line up from the bottom is the main line.

It's hard to get a good picture.
Don't take this the wrong way, but you don't seem to have a yard lead. How do you plan to break down and put together trains without fouling the main?

Hmmm, your right. I did not think about that. Don't think I'll change it though, more of a storage yard than switching

Great layout and large track yard.
Below is my old track diagram control panel made from hardboard (Masonite) and auto pin stripe. I do not know how I could find the track switch push buttons needed without this type control panel. The red and green track switches, and blue uncoupling are mini momentary push button switches. The track section switches, painted black, are mini slide switches that show black blocking the white pin stripe when power is off. You may have to number your tracks to be able to identify them on the control panel and the track to better identify.

I would like to know what type/brand of push buttons you're using to control turnouts, and if you are using indicator lights to indicate turnout position, again type/brand.
