I have bought from them numerous times (mail order and at York). I have seen their Brooklyn store in person. They are selling the same trains everyone else is and they are doing so at great prices.  By all means buy from them. They are one of the largest train dealers in the country. You can't go wrong buying from them.

They're great in my experience.  I've bought a couple items from them recently.  In one case I jumped the gun and preordered a Lionel N5 caboose to go with a K-Line EP-5 I bought on eBay.  When the EP-5 arrived, it wasn't in the condition it was described and had to go back.  They switched road names for me on the caboose order (the one I switched to was in stock) and sent it out a couple days later.

Brooklyn store is Train World. Long Island store is Trainland. Just to clarify, since the subject line is wrong.

Train World is a well-established business.  I have ordered by mail and bought in store there. I'm a satisfied customer. Very good prices, but not exceptionally cheaper when compared to other online discount dealers for nonclearance items.

So I guess I'm wondering what prompted you to ask this question in the first place.
