To all who enjoy trains, your blood pressure is probably low. To those that don't.............It's time to start.

Older brother of a friend of my brother just died last week from a heart attack. He had been to the DRs this last summer

and had two arteries 70% blocked. DR told him he needed a bypass surgery. He said he was going to wait until spring of 2015

to have the surgery done. Well the spring of 2015 is never coming for him, because he was helping someone haul out a summer dock

and had a massive heart attack right there. Now they are planning his funeral.

get chcked out gentlemen and keep on playing with your therapeutic trains.!!!

First, I agree totally about getting your annual checkup. Many of us are still around because we consider this to be a priority.

As for the trains and therapy, again I agree with you wholeheartedly. Too many folks don't have an effective hobby and they wonder why they are always frustrated. Thankfully, most of us are not in this category.

Sorry to hear about your brother's friend.

I've tried therapy in the past...marriage counselor and private sessions, trains don't come close to real therapy, at least not for me. There always seems to be problems with trains and the layout, maybe conventional operators have more easy-going experiences. If my layout ever gets done (do they ever) or at least to the point I can say "it's what I envisioned", I'll revisit my view on their therapy.

Now, riding my Harley is the best therapy I've ever had. Almost as good as, and sometimes better than, you know what.
