Oil pumps working overtime

We Texans and Cajuns love that liquid Gold. Great jobs on modeling the oil fields.

My oil field is still a work in progress and not on the layout yet. The secondary containment area has been painted since these photos were taken. I need to add a fence around the whole compound. The MTH Filling Station is separate so it can be moved adjacent to track(s) when placed on the layout. The Fossil Petroleum Co. was founded in an outlet mall in Williamsburg, VA. The Fossil Watch store had these stickers. Fossil with wings and a shield, I immediately thought petroleum company. I should have taken a close-up of the logo that adorns the storage tanks and derrick.

Nice use of oil filters Coach.
Good catch Joe. AC Delco's finest. I thought it was apropos.
No active exploration/drilling or refining on the layout, just a lonely pumping station:
Steve, what kind of activation button is that? Is it actually aglow? That's a great idea, kids of all ages must love that

A friend is using a few of them (very large ones from diesel buses) for grain silos. After some painting/detailing, they fit right in.
