Anyone in the northeast catch some snow action with snowstorm Orlena?
I live right next to the tracks so I heard the horn and ran over to get this shot.

That is a great video on many levels. I love the doppler of the distant and approaching train and then the appearance of the locomotive out of the falling snow. In short order the power and fury overwhelm the viewer. Soon, into shades of white and gray and the continuing doppler effect compliments the disappearing train. And it becomes quiet and snowy again.

@RSJB18 I too enjoy watching Virtual Railfan. Especially the oops moments. Heck Ashland, VA is famous from all the footage of cars going on to the tracks.
Woe, nice footage. Talk about limited visibility! You can barely make out the high voltage tower in the distance. I especially liked the icicles on the locomotives.
I especially liked the small "explosion" of snow as the lead engine hits the crossing right near the end!
