One of the greatest and most fun train event. So many great people and great people hosting a great party. I sure miss attending after moving across the country.
You guys will just have to be patient and wait to see me at York!

The airlines fly in January too Brian. We'll miss you buddy, I hope the smoke has cleared from all the fires out there.
That’s right Greg! How did Ben photoshop me under a Yankees lid anyway!?
John, yes the planes do fly in January. It’s something Lynley and I are thinking about for future Trainstocks. But this year we’ll be just settling her mom at our house after Lynley’s father’s recent passing.
All the fires were far north of us. And with all the rain lately it should lower the danger significantly.
Well Brian, we look forward to seeing you at York in any case, and maybe next year at Trainstock.

Ben I think you need to be more specific, there are quite a few beers, or empties in that picture.

I'm the guy on the left, next to the window. Brian and I are from Philly and have an ongoing, good natured rivalry with our fellow New York, northern Jersey brethren.

This sounds like a very interesting day. I am hoping to attend with the wife. Who do I ask for further information. I would be coming in 80 ( weather permitting ) from Ohio. I am trying to locate hotels. There is one, a Ramada in or around Wayne I believe. Is it a decent one. Also what is the parking situation for handicap. Thanks for any help ahead of time............Paul
I'm in! put me down for 3 . Can't miss trains and great food!
Hi Ben,
Put me down for 2, I missed last year.
I will bring my MTH 2 rail scale engines (SD70ACe & F3 ABA) to run. We can put the 3 rail pickups on when I get there. I will bring my seven of my 2 rail GGD passenger cars to see if they will "RUN" and make it through your tight curves for a 1946 Lackawanna Limited.

Ramada Inn in Wayne is your typical Ramada Inn, it's fine. That whole area is a major strip mall/shopping mall area and is very busy. If you want something a little nicer, and about equidistant from the Hi-Railers Club, this Hyatt in Paramus is an easy drive.
Hey Hirailers! Put us down as 4 or 5 guests.....the real reason you invite us is you like fattening up skinny guys like myself......glad to oblige Chef Vinnie lol!

Hi Paul,
If there are no readily available spots to park when you arrive you will be able to get dropped off at the curb and I believe the curb is street level at the end of the block which can be negotiated by a wheelchair. We have a ramp to the door and as mentioned previously, an elevator to get you to the 3rd floor.
If you have concerns please contact me at the email in my profile. I can give you my cell number and you can call me if you need any help when you and your wife arrive. We'll get you in

Ben
Weather permitting I plan to be there with C.Sam
OK Its the New Year Time to get serious about planning this Commmme on down
Weather is looking good so the wife and I will make it there. Making a hotel reservation today. Someone mentioned there is a freight elevator. That would work for my wife she cannot not do a lot of stairs .................Paul

There is a ramp at the front door and an elevator up to the third floor
Please add two more. I'm heading there from LI with member Canonball. Thanks!
Barring unforeseen circumstances or bad weather, I plan on dropping by early.
I am in.
I'm going to make a good-faith effort to be there. Will try (dependednt on my mode of transport) to bring a flatcar train of unusual length, 40-60 cars and RailKing "MTHRRC company colors" SD70/ES44.

The gang from the Trenton area will be coming up again this year and are looking forward to a great time! There will be about six of us driving up. Rich, George, Norm, Mark, Dave & Greg! Hope to see you there.
Hi Ben et al.
Kathie and I will be there. Can't wait! Hope you're off from the subway gig that day so you can share in Trainstock 11.
Chris
Ben,
I plan to attend with Phil Gatto and 2 others. We're looking forward to all the action on the layout. Thank you.
Hey Ben
Hope it's not too late to sign up ??? --- wasn't sure about early January this year but it looks like I can make it
Thank you

The Ocean County Society of Model Railroaders, home of an almost larger than the Hi Railers layout, will be coming up with about 8 folks.
Since I am now the club president, will you have the red carpeting rolled out for my entrance? Lol! Dennis and I switched positions as he is the vice president.
See everyone next week ( with no mallomars ).
Ted
hi Ben ill be there again with bells' on always a great time with all you guys and great fellowship and enjoying the food and hobby together hope many people can turn out this next weekend for a great time!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like we'll be staying home. Been under the weather since Christmas and no energy to work on the tractor.
So sorry I won't be there. I wish all my train friends a great time.
Gerry
Sorry......none of the RC3R members will be able to come......it's our last day and "Take Down" of our gig at the Great Big GreenHouse.
I will be looking forward to the pics!
Peter
As much as the wife and I were looking forward to coming I had to cancel our trip due to the possible winter storm in Ohio and also the changing weather in Paterson. Maybe I'll have better luck for the next Trainstock..................Paul
Hi NJ HiRailers,
Melgar and I have had your upcoming Saturday morning event in our calendars, and weather permitting, we are hoping to make it.
Is it OK if I bring with me my train doctor, Dennis? Unlike Melgar and I, Dennis is not a member of this Forum, but he is a great guy who loves Postwar Lionel trains, has a beautiful collection of them, is an engineer by profession and is brilliant at fixing Postwar Lionel trains and even works part-time for a LHS. I am hoping to recruit him to becoming an OGR Forum member.
Of course, I would pay the $8 fee for Dennis if you are OK with him attending.
Arnold D. Cribari
Everyone is welcome Cmon down
Arnold, Mel, Paul, like you I'll be there weather permitting. It'll be a mini Westchester re-union.
