Thanks it looks like it was a lot of fun
Thanks NJ Highrailers! You are truly the ambassadors of the hobby. Had a great time once again. Always good to put a face to the names. I think I gained 5 pounds though, Thanks Vinnie.
Thanks for posting the picture's and video's.
Looks like I missed a good time.

Magnificent layout and first class Club. Having worked in Newark in the fabric dye business during the 1960s and until the mid-1970s, I was in Patterson many times. To old and lame to attend but really enjoy the photos and comment.
However, I don't see my favorite old Lackawanna Electrics on the layout, my daily ride from Morris Plains to Hoboken and NYC during the late 1970s which I boarded at 5:50 a.m. daily and returned whenever.
Skip, thanks for posting the photos. I hope to make it one day .
Brad
What a great day. It was great to see many familiar Forum members and meeting some new ones. Thanks to the NJ Hi-Railers for another awesome event.
Great day, great people, great layout (lots done since last time), etc., etc.
Thanks to all the HiRailers. Vinnie, the food was great. I had no idea you could do acrobatics in the middle of the layout. I was truly impressed.
Love the pictures Skip. Brother Bill, what pictures do you have to post?
Gerry
Skip,
Good job with the photos. I see quite a few of the 20th Century Ltd as can be expected from you. You also got a couple of nice ones of the Gunrunners Pennsypower hauling a string of coal hoppers that was just waiting to be delivered.
Joe
WOW!!! Thanks for the photo's. WOW !!! again for the videos.
Great layout..thanks for sharing
As always, the layout looks fantastic! The NJHRs are a great bunch and hopefully someday soon I will be able to see the layout in person and meet the group. Looks like you guys had a wonderful time and thanks so much for doing what you do to promote the hobby. Thanks Skip for all of the pictures!
Alan
Thank You gang for a great tradition in this great hobby of O gauge Railroading!!!! It was wonderful to see and talk with many of you!
Nice!
Andy
Thank you to all of the NJ Highrailers gang for hosting another outstanding Trainstock! The food was terrific and it was great to see old and new friends.
The ever evolving layout is looking better every time you see it. There's always something new to see and it's a great inspiration for ideas for my layout.
The problem is when I see an area I want to copy for my layout, I scope out a spot to put it and realize it would be bigger than my house!
Thanks again for a great time.
Great photo's and video's guys, Dina and I had a wonderful time with great food and awesome folks.
Alex
It was nice to finally meet Alex & Dina. Great to see Marty Fitzhenry back again. Nice train shirts Dotty
and thanks for pulling my number for the 50-50 raffle.
Great time as usual! Nice to see and chat with some old friends and new. Thanks guy's for a great day!
Wow! What a fantastic layout! Thanks for posting all the pix and the vids, too. Wish I could have seen it. Maybe next year -- cross my fingers.
Martin
Thanks to those of you who posted the photos and videos. Wish I could have attended. Maybe next year.
First, A BIG "Thank you!" to the NJHirailers for inviting all of us to Train Fest 5! We had a very good time. The food was excellent, as usual! Thank you Vinny and crew.
I enjoyed meeting a bunch of old friends and also meeting some new ones. The NJHR gang has been quite busy making changes to the layout. I thought I would showcase some of those changes, as well as throw in a few of the old scenes. Enjoy!

Great shots guys!
I (hope)know you all appreciate what a great thing you all got going there! A central location for you all to meet. I can imagine how much you guys love trains , but it looks like its even more about friendships and the trains are just an excuse to get together(naaah). Nice job again, the new scenery looks great! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for posting all the photos and videos! Making it to Trainstock is on the short list!!
Great layout guys. Congratulations on terrific work. Too bad I couldn't make it (new grandbaby). On the list for your next open house. Sort of wish I lived closer to Patterson.
All the best.
Ron
Skip, Chris, Jeff, Harry, L.I. Train and all others who have posted their hard work here,
Thanks for the pictures & videos. Hopefully Brother Gerry, my photos will join this page in a few days after I can process & get them optimized (i.e. Photoshopped®. BTW, I put my thanks to the N. J. HiRailers at page 6 of the Trainfest announcement that Ben made. It's at https://ogrforum.com/d...3460010369043/page/6. (can't get the link to work)

All I can say is WOW!!! Definitely gotta get myself to next year's event. I'm guessing it's about a 75-90 minute ride for me. No excuses next time.
David
75 to 90 min! I have a 4 1/2 hr ride to the club but worth every mile!
Thanks for posting all the pics Skip!

Because I know many people do not want to be caught dead on Facebook, here are some of my favorites:
Here are a couple videos that I took near the end of the day. Remember, I am not a photographer or a videographer, I am just a guy with a camera.

I want to jump in here behind Alex's post to thank Dina, his wife for helping out in the Kitchen all day. Thanks to both for cutting and plating those cakes too!

First class all the way. The pictures and videos have put this on my list of must do's. Really amazing stuff. Thank you, Terry
Great job by the New Jersey Hi-Railers yesterday. It was so good to see everyone and I enjoyed the good food yesterday. Hope to see everyone again.
All I can say is WOW!!! Definitely gotta get myself to next year's event. I'm guessing it's about a 75-90 minute ride for me. No excuses next time.

75 to 90 min! I have a 4 1/2 hr ride to the club but worth every mile!
Get 'em Chris. Steve Tapper, Jim Mason and I have a 4 1/2 hr ride from the south and we make it every year.
Heck, Peter Condro has a 7-8 hr ride and he made it.
I have been to every one so far and as long as I am able, I will continue to attend. The Hi-Railers are a class organization and they make every one feel like family.
And after yesterday, they have to do it all over again today for their regular Open House.
Wonderful pics Skip and everyone else, one day I'll get there myself. Congratulations to the NJHR for another great event.
Both Dotty and I want to thank all the great people at the NJ Hi Railers for a fantastic day. The members, the layout and the food was the best it could be. This was Trainstock number five for us and we had a great time. Everything ran fine and as usual the food was the best. Thanks again for a great day.
