Trainstock 8 at the NJ HiRailers

Looking forward to another great Trainstock.

Ok   Now that our train shows are done for 2015  We can focus on Trainstock.  We have the new hats ordered and I think they are the coolest ones yet. 

Any sneak peek on the new design Ben?

Bringing my amtrak train to run. 12 21" cars, 2 18" cars and WBB FA-1 ABBA with 6 motors and 6 speakers with the new sound boards in conventional control. Hope this train will like your curves, because I can't run this at our club.

I'm packing my stuff as we speak, gotta' be ready for this trip!

Trainstock is one of the best model railroading events of the year but after writing the date on the calendar, we noticed a schedule conflict. It is disappointing but I will need to miss Trainstock 2016.   Having been there many times, I can say with absolute certainty that this event is terrific.

I'll be there. OH wait I have to run some trains that day. It's all hands on deck that day for all the NJHrailers members. We look forward to welcoming everyone to the club.

I'm working on making the trip from Chi-town to this legendary event! I hope the work schedule holds true. If it's just me and my oldest son we will fly into NJ, but if the whole family wants in we may make a road trip out it. Hey, it's only 12 hours by car! Worth every minute!!!

Kathie and I will certainly be there. We look forward to it each year! It's the best cure for the post-holiday blues... and about halfway between the York Meets, too. What's not to love?

Sorry to say I'm going to have to miss my first Trainstock. Heading to Tampa to watch my daughter participate in a Yankee Fantasy Camp. Just hoping there's a father/daughter game. Have fun guys. I hope to get to a January Open House.

Will be there and the new hat logo is awesome.

I plan on making my way over. This will be number 5 for me.  Each time I have found some alternate way to get there because I don't have a car.

Last year I brought my two youngest on the train and walked.  If the weather stays like this that will be great but I remember it snowing one year and having to walk quite a ways from the bus.

At any rate this is  one of two or three toy train events I go to each year and I really do look forward to it. The others being the Westchester Toy train show in White Plains and the Show Ron's Books does in Old Greenwich CT both of which are easy to get to by train. 

Thanks to the NjHighrailers for putting on this great event every year.

One Year there were stickers for everyone to have thier forum "tags" on them I found that to be helpful to find people I converse with here and put a name to a face.

I will be buying three---one for me---one for my buddy Bobby Thomas ( Angela's husband )---and one extra because I know one of my kids is going to love my hat and "steal" it
