Check out the Long Island Press Digital Magazine to see TrainWorld featured in an article called Train Time! Page 22/23 November 2022

Cool and congratulations. LI Press (the paper version) was my hometown newspaper in olden days (1960s). Didn't know they continued on-line.
That was a great read. Congratulations! You guys really did innovate during the pandemic! I enjoyed all of your webcasts.
Great read -- Keep up the good work, Ken.
Ken,
Great article and interesting magazine. After my marriage to a Long Island girl, our house was furnished with items from both Trainworld in Lynbrook and Fortunoff's (mentioned on Page 4.)
Thank you!!
From the mid-70’s into the 80’s, I lived on East 7th St. off Avenue M. While going to college or work in Manhattan, I had to catch the subway at Ave. M and East 15th St. TrainWorld was right next to the station exit (I had no idea that was their first location). Spent many hours browsing in there - shelves up to the ceiling displaying the latest Lionel trains. Since I was young and couldn’t afford a lot of trains, I loved that TrainWorld would sell set breakups (first store I remember doing that) - allowed me to get individual cars from the FARR Series, the Fallen Flags Series and others. As the song says, “those were the days my friend”. Congrats on your continuing success.
Ah winter trips from NW N.J. into Manhattan then a ride on the "F" train to the elevated Ditmas Ave. station. Used to get off at nearly every elevated station platform along the line for photos, some of which I'll have to post here on the "railfanning" thread.
Nice! Happy Thanksgiving, you TW folks!
I really enjoyed the article Ken. Keep up the great work.
