Today, May 10, is the 151st anniversary of the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad at Promontory Summit. You may know that the U.S. Postal Service released a special sheet of three stamps last year to commemorate the 150th anniversary. The stamps are stunning.

To extend the commemoration of the 150th anniversary to my layout, I arranged the three stamps on an insert for a Lionel billboard stand and put the sheet's decorative header on an insert for another billboard. Someone with artistic ability could have done it better, but I'm still pleased to have this as part of my layout.
