I was always pleased with the double loop track you can make using just one 45 degree cross track. When the youngsters watch it, they seem amazed the the same engine is on two different tracks. Great for under the tree.
While waiting for a malware scan to finish, I was doodling and I came up with a way to have three different circles.
My PC literate son found a shareware track program called Anyrail, and came up with a 10' x 5' layout that i thought i would share. It uses 0 Gauge three rail. Most tracks are standard lionel part numbers. We only had two track cuts to make it fit.
Has anyone else done anything like this? Unfortunately, it may be too large for some under the tree.
Try drawing the plan without looking at the picture. It was like one of those brain teasers.
