I have a Christmas trolley and was wondering what features I can address with the remote from a stater set.
I do have full DCS and understand the trolley has to be addressed to spot#1.

No, the trolly must be Factory Reset and not added back to the DCS Remote before it will work with the starter set remote.
what features I can address with the remote from a stater set
The starter set remote has the following commands: Startup, Shut Down, Speed, Direction, Sound Volume, Couplers, PFA, Bell, Whistle/Horn, and Accent Sounds.
