We're trying to change a TIU address from three blinks to one blink (from ID 3 to ID 1)
Even with the TIU off the layout and the remote tethered, after changing the ID to 1 the TIU still comes up blinking 3 times when powered up.
Looking at it in the remote it thinks it's 1, but the TIU thinks it's 3 .... by the blinks.
Any idea what is going on?
Is the TIU "bad" and needs to go to a TIU Doctor?

Wellll, MTH tech says if we can't change it the TIU is toast and cannot be repaired.

I wouldn't give up just yet..... The tiu blinks 3 times so it's tiu #3, Now the question is... Is TIU #3 still added to the remote and does the read find TIU number #3?
IS ID #1 available to edit to.
Can you edit to any other address?
I think he is next trying to change the other 3 to a 1 and leave the 3 which won't change to a 1 as is.
He has 5 TIUs with two AIUs on the last 2 ... tough to juggle them around when they are in active state on the layout.
I know if you have tiu 1 added to a remote you're now restricted and can't edit any tiu to tiu #1 (with that remote). A spare remote really comes in handy for these type of moves because you can delete add reset tiu and also reset the remote to get where you have to go... Nothing lost.
