I loaded and used the LCS app prior to installing the iOS8 and have had no problems prior or after. Have you tried a cloud backup and restore?

Well, we ventured into the LCS last night at Harry's place.  I ran across one oddity.  When you control the locomotive from the LCS on the iPad, the diesel RPM doesn't increase when you speed up, I couldn't see a reason for that.  It happened on both the Legacy E8's and the Legacy Sharks, our two test engines.  Is this just something I missed on the operation?  FWIW, they did work normally from the Legacy remote.

One other issue was that I couldn't get it to connect using WPS to the Comcast Infinity router, we tried multiple times.  It worked fine in stand-alone mode, but I'd like to be able to use the Internet on the iPad and the LCS without switching WiFi networks.

I had some issues doing that with Air Port router, but it worked eventually. So you went to the Comcast router software and looked for the Lionel WiFi signal and couldn't find it or found it and couldn't link up?

I initially had a problem connecting to my home network with the LCS WiFi.  It turns out that the LCS WiFi uses 802.11b.  Your Infinity router may be configured to only support 802.11g and 802.11n.

I had my router configured for 802.11g/802.11n mixed, and I could not get a connection.  I reconfigured for b, g & n, and it connected.
