I just got this Weaver VO-1000 a couple of weeks ago and when I went to run it, it wouldn’t budge. I realized I needed to clean the old grease out of the trucks. I searched high and low for some disassembly instructions or anything to tell me what screws needed to come out and what could stay. I turned up nothing even on the Tube. So I decided to make a video of how to do it and when I was finished the locomotive ran perfectly. The issue was that it took me over 4 hours for something that should have taken less than an hour. Thus the video.
I hope this helps someone so they don’t have to go through the pain I had to.
